Ivace Energía encourages individuals, companies, local councils and organisations to participate in the National Energy Awards

The Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (Ivace) today announced the opening of the 2022 call for the thirteenth edition of the National Energy Awards, organised by the Association of Spanish Energy Management Agencies, of which Ivace is a member, to recognise the best projects or actions in favour of the energy transition throughout the national territory.

A new feature, compared to previous editions, is the inclusion of a new category for Best Energy Community, which joins the traditional categories of Renewable Energies, Energy Efficiency and/or Sustainable Mobility, and Awareness and Dissemination.

OBJECT

To recognise the best projects or actions in favour of the energy transition throughout Spain.

CATEGORIES

Four categories are announced, one more than usual, as this year a new award is included for the Best Performance in the Field of Energy Communities, in line with one of the priority lines of work for EnerAgen members at present, who have in fact set up a specific working group on this subject.

On the other hand, the categories of Renewable Energies, Energy Efficiency and/or Sustainable Mobility, and Awareness and Dissemination are maintained. The scoring criteria that will be taken into account when assessing the proposals received in each of the categories can be consulted in the rules.

In the case of the Energy Communities category, as these are new and incipient initiatives, applications will be accepted in which the formal constitution of the same has been carried out between 1 January 2020 and the date of publication of this call.

BENEFICIARIES

Individuals, entities, groups, public and private companies and energy communities that have stood out at national, regional or local level for their work in some of the categories over the years 2020 and 2021.

AMOUNT

The prizes are endowed financially with the amount of 1,500 euros for the winner in each of the categories. In recognition of the award-winning performance, EnerAgen will also present the corresponding diploma at a prize-giving ceremony, which will be made public.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The deadline for submitting applications is 28 March. Participation will be channelled in the Valencia Region through Ivace.
