Matchmaking for business cooperation on blue growth in Europe

OBJECTIVE

The EEA-Norway Grants aim to reduce economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthen bilateral relations between Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and the countries of Europe.

The EEA-Norway Grants 2014-2021 provide EUR 320 million in support of 10 programmes on business development, innovation and SMEs in 10 countries in Europe. In Blue Growth, the programmes support business innovation, value creation and competitiveness projects in the marine and maritime sectors.

The projects develop new technologies, processes or solutions that contribute to strengthening a sustainable blue economy in the beneficiary countries and their cooperation with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

AIMED AT

The event is organised in cooperation between the 12 EEA and Norway Grants partners. These are: - Bulgaria - Croatia - Estonia - Greece - Iceland - Latvia - Lithuania - Norway - Poland - Portugal - Romania - and Slovakia.

We invite companies, clusters, associations, research institutes and others from these countries to join the pairing, either by attending the event in Greece or online.

PROGRAMME

The event is a hybrid event. It will bring together companies, groups, researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders from 12 countries across Europe in Athens, Greece. It will also be streamed online and provide digital matching.

VENUE: This is a hybrid event with participation in Athens or online.
